Revital Bronstein, May God Avenge Her Blood – In Her Memory and Honor

Farewell words for our dear Revital,
Revital, may God avenge her blood, joined the Psychology Library at the beginning of the academic year 5784 and expressed her desire to work with us. We immediately understood that she possessed extraordinary talent, immense professional knowledge, rare abilities, and above all, a pleasant demeanor, gentleness, and good character.
Revital was an integral part of the library team, and since she sat at the service desk, she was our "show window," impressing everyone who approached her with her kindness, patience, calmness, and the positive energy she radiated, even during busy and stressful times, as well as her professional and dedicated conduct. Revital assisted many who came to the service desk while also ensuring responsible handling of book loans, returns, and shelf organization. She maintained the fingerprint access system for the learning areas on the second floor and meticulously managed all students and faculty who needed fingerprint access.
Revital was also instrumental in scanning study and research materials for students, faculty, interlibrary loan services, and the Ben Yehuda project, making it easier for many researchers and students.
Her particularly significant contribution was in building the pilot for the catalog of questionnaires and research tools featured in theses written in the Psychology Department, where her quick comprehension, attention to detail, and spatial awareness made her valuable; her good and professional advice contributed to the establishment of the pilot.
Revital was a graduate student in the Department of Information Studies, writing her thesis on artificial intelligence (AI), and was in the final stages of her project. She was also a talented comic artist, leaving behind beautiful and rare comic series. Additionally, Revital sewed and designed costumes of famous characters from film and theater, even winning awards in international competitions. The Library and Information Services will dedicate a comprehensive exhibition to Revital, may her memory be a blessing, and her works in the coming year.

Our hearts ache and refuse to believe that Revital was taken in the terrible attack on the light rail in Jaffa, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah 5785. Her departure was sudden and incomprehensible, and there is no forgiveness!
We, Nataly and Chaya, the library team, with the assistance of the Psychology Department and in cooperation with the Library and Information Services, promise to remember you and commemorate you as much as we can.

With gratitude, immense appreciation, and longing, The Psychology Library Team
