Beginning Sunday, 22 February 2026 (5 Adar 5786), the Reading Room will be closed for extensive renovations.

The following changes will take place in the Library of Jewish Studies during the renovation period:

• The Learning Space, located on Level -1, replaces the Reading Room and the librarians’ service desk has been relocated to the Learning Space.
• The space is designated for quiet study.
• Seating in this area is reserved exclusively for researchers and students of the Faculty of Jewish Studies.
• A selection of books from the Reading Room will be moved to the Interfloor Level (-1), and their new location has been updated in the catalog. The remaining books will not be accessible.
• The open-shelf collection and the Reference Desk remain open as usual.
