About us
The Jewish Studies Library is a study and research library, the second largest after the National Library.
The library provides students, researchers, and faculty members with access to information sources in the fields of Jewish Studies and the Humanities.
The library contains several Learning Spaces Some designated for quiet study only, while others allow group study.
The library's collection includes over 350,000 books and more than 5,000 journals. Part of the collection is available online exclusively to Bar-Ilan University members, while another part is physically located in the library and available for on-site use. Some of the books in the collection can be borrowed, but only by Bar-Ilan members.
The library subscribes to a large number of databases—some accessible online only to Bar-Ilan members, and others available locally through the library's computers only. These databases are located on the computers in the reading hall on the first floor.
