Libkey Nomad extension

Nomad LibKey Extension
The Nomad LibKey extension is a free tool that provides access to full-text articles included in our subscriptions—even when searching freely on the internet, outside the Libraries and Information Division website at Bar-Ilan University.

How do you install the extension?
Click the link to the extension page. After the initial download of the LibKey extension, you will be asked to select your institutional subscription, namely: Bar-Ilan University. Then, enter your access password for the Single Sign On system.

That’s it! From now on, you can use the system. Simply search for articles as you normally do, and in your new search, you will occasionally see a link with the following icon. Clicking the icon will allow you to access the article with a single click.

BrowZine System

A system that enables locating scholarly journals by title, browsing journals by subject, and creating a personal library of selected journals and full-text articles.

In addition, you can search for journals by ISSN number and access selected articles using DOI or PMID identifiers.

Please note: The system primarily supports articles in English and other non-Hebrew languages.

You can also download the BrowZine app for your phone, iPad, and other devices. Simply search for “BrowZine” and, during setup, select Bar-Ilan University as your institution.

Search by DOI/PMID

On the Libraries and Information Division website, you will find a search box for direct access to articles using a DOI or PMID number.

In addition, you can go directly to the LibKey.io website and search there by DOI or PMID.

As a rule, in all tools, if access to the PDF format via LibKey is not available, the library catalog system will be activated to search for alternative ways to access the article. If no access is available at all, you will be directed to request a copy of the article through Interlibrary Loan.
