The English and Literature  Library includes the collections of the following departments: English Literature and Linguistics,  Literature of the Jewish People and Comparative Literature.

The English collections concentrate on works from Anglo-Saxon literature, translations into English from a variety of original languages, and literary studies and linguistics books, available in both print and electronic formats.

The Hebrew collections focus on literature – original works and translations, research books, and criticism.

In addition, there is an interdisciplinary collection that includes Classical studies, philosophy, interpretation, and gender studies, as well as works in the field of Jewish studies.

The library caters specifically to faculty and students of the English and Literature departments, as well as to the wider student and faculty community at Bar-Ilan University.

Students and faculty from other universities access the library's resources through interlibrary loans.
